Eurosam is a European joint venture between MBDA and Thales that specializes in the design, production, and sale of advanced long-range ground and naval air defense systems. The company provides the core of European air and missile defense capabilities through its ASTER missile-based systems, including the SAMP/T NG designed to counter ballistic and cruise missiles. Recently, in July 2024, France announced it will grant Ukraine licenses to manufacture Aster 30 missiles on Ukrainian soil.
